AUREFJORD designs architectural outdoor saunas from 5 to 40 m² for villas, fincas, holiday rentals and boutique hotels in Mallorca. Every sauna arrives finished from the factory, with panoramic glazing and an app-controlled electric heater, and is placed by crane.
Sauna and the Mediterranean
Heat followed by cooling is the heart of the sauna ritual: a round in the sauna, then the pool or the sea. In Mallorca, the milder months from autumn to spring are exactly when a sauna is most enjoyed – and they extend the season of a villa or hotel.
The glazing is oriented to the view, the sun and the privacy of each plot. Atelier 15 can be built with vertical timber louvres for screening.
Private villas and fincas
A sauna with glass towards the sea, the Serra de Tramuntana or the garden, right by the pool. Nordic Frame 9 and Atelier 15 for a compact spot; Lounge 22, Retreat 34 and Pavilion 40 for a complete wellness pavilion with lounge and shower.
Luxury holiday rentals
A private sauna gives a villa one more reason to be booked – also outside the summer season. With app control, the sauna is warm when guests arrive.
Boutique hotels and agroturismos
Private saunas for individual suites or a wellness pavilion for the whole hotel – delivered finished and placed by crane in a day, with little building work on the finca.

How it works
- Choose a model from 5 to 40 m²: sauna only, with changing area, or with lounge and shower.
- Send us the location, the view and the access to the plot.
- Receive a written quotation with the sauna, transport to the island, crane and installation listed separately.
- The module is placed on its foundations and a local electrician makes the connection.
Frequently asked questions
Can an outdoor sauna be installed at a villa or finca in Mallorca?
Yes. AUREFJORD saunas arrive finished from the factory as timber modules and are placed by crane on ground screws or concrete pads, so very little building work is needed on the plot. Access for the lorry and crane is checked before delivery, including fincas with narrow lanes.
Do I need a permit for an outdoor sauna in Mallorca?
It depends on the municipality, the type of land – for example urban or rural land (suelo rústico) – and whether the plot is in a protected area. Check with your ayuntamiento (town hall) before ordering. AUREFJORD provides plans and dimensions of the model for that enquiry. This is general information, not legal advice.
What kind of heater does the sauna have?
Every AUREFJORD sauna has an electric heater with app and Wi-Fi control – no chimney and no firewood. You can switch the sauna on from your phone so it is warm when you or your guests arrive. The final electrical connection is made by a qualified local electrician.
How does the sauna get to Mallorca?
The sauna is built as one or more finished modules, transported by lorry and lifted onto your plot by crane. Transport to the island, crane and installation are planned for each address and listed separately in the written quotation.
How much does a luxury outdoor sauna in Mallorca cost?
It depends on the model, options and location. You receive a written quotation that separates the sauna and options from VAT, transport, crane, foundations and installation, so the total is clear. Priority-list customers receive their quotation first.
